[Chemical Substance Information System] [Information Disclosure] Disclosure of Information on Chemical Substances (Related to Article 42 of the “Act on the Registration and Evaluation of Chemicals” and Article 51 of its Enforcement Rules)
Information on the names and hazard of chemical substances is disclosed in relation to Article 42 of the “Act on the Registration and Evaluation of Chemicals” and Article 51 of its Enforcement Rules.
○ Disclosure: 90 new chemical substances that have completed evaluation between November and December 2020, including 17 toxic substances and 73 substances classified as "others." No existing chemical substances have been newly listed.
*Note: Materials that require evaluation based on the toxicity items of the toxic substance designation criteria (10 items) but have not been fully reviewed and thus require data to be collected based on the cumulative amount of manufacture and import in the future (materials marked with '-' in the attached document on hazardous chemical substances).
○ Revision of the "Regulations on the Classification and Labelling of Chemicals" according to the Notification "Hazards reviewing Results of Chemical Substances", with changes to the classification and labelling items in the [Appendix].
○ Re-disclosure of 43 substances that require information changes through of Change of Registration and supplementary materials.
12 substances with newly added hazards information, 24 substances with changed existing hazards information, and 7 other substances (including 4 new chemical substances with updated chemical names and 2 existing chemical substances with updated classification and labeling).
Disclosure of information for a total of 4,880 substances, including partial changes and updates to 4,790 chemical substances that have already been disclosed (including the deletion of 12 duplicate substances).
