Partial Amendment Notice on Notice of Existing Chemical Substances
The Ministry of Environment hereby partially amends and announces the Existing Chemical Substances (No. 2021-23, February 5, 2021) as follows:

The following amendments are made to part of the announcement on Existing Chemical Substances to be amended:
Article 3 is revised as Article 4, and Article 3 is newly added as follows:
Article 3 (Recognition of Existing Chemical Substances)
1. A hydrated or anhydrous of an existing chemical substance;
2. A reaction product composed of two or more components, where all components are existing chemical substances (however, this is limited to cases where the separation of each component within the reaction product is technically difficult and where the reaction product is distributed or handled in the market as a whole);
3. A specific isomer from an existing chemical substance containing two or more isomers;
4. Other chemical substances listed in Appendix 3.
Appendix 3 is newly established as shown in the attached form.
