[MOE Public Notice No.2023-269] Administrative Notice of Partial Amendment to Regulations on the Preparation and Management of Information Protection Application
Announcement No. 2023-269 of the Ministry of Environment:
In accordance with Article 46 of the “Administrative Procedure Act” and Article 6 of the “Regulation on the Issuance and Management of Orders and Regulations, the relevant notice is to be amended. Prior to the amendment, the Ministry would like to inform the public of the proposed rationale and key contents and hear their opinions.

Administrative Notice of Partial Amendment to Regulations on the Preparation and Management of Information Protection Application
1. Reason for Revision
The purpose of this revision is to clarify the scope of application of generic names used for the purpose of protecting information on chemical substances by replacing their original names, in accordance with the "Act on the Registration and Evaluation of Chemical Substances," and to establish a method for creating generic names for mixtures and polymer compounds containing chemical substances in order to protect trade secrets.
