If manufacturing/importing 1 ton or more of existing chemical substances annually, only manufacturers/importers who have completed pre-registration regarding data such as basic information, yearly manufacture/import tonnage, uses, etc. of the substance no later than June 30, 2019 may have a registration grace period applied to them.
However, cases corresponding to the following may have grace periods applied identically as prior pre-registration methods:

· Substances whose manufacture/import first occurred after June 30, 2019
· Substances which did not go through pre-registration steps, whose manufacture/import tonnage has increased and is expected to exceed 1 ton annually
